Monumental Magazine Digital Editions
Kassidy served as the EIC of Maryland's fashion magazine where she was able to create digital issues that showcased student designers, writers, photographers, and creators. Check out the two editions that she has previously published on issu.com.
Kassidy served as EIC in this most recent issue. She also shot the cover image and wrote the letter from the editor. She worked with the design and layout team to create a framework for the magazine and designed multiple pages. She oversaw the entire team of writers, photographers, and graphic designers.
Kassidy served as the Creative Director in Monumental's first ever digital edition. She worked alongside the EIC to decide color schemes, plan out graphics, and learned how to use InDesign to create the magazine. Her role in this magazine prepared her to take on the EIC role the following year.
Alexandria Times
Kassidy previously worked as a News Reporter at the Alexandria Times in Alexandria, Virginia. She pitched stories, interviewed people, and copyedited all stories produced by interns. Here are some of her favorite pieces that were published online and printed in the weekly paper:
