About Kassidy: 

​I graduated from the Philip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland in 2022 and decided to stay in the DMV area, now calling Arlington, Virginia, home. If you check out my resume and portfolio, you’ll see a blend of journalism, marketing, and technical writing, with each experience shaping me into the writer I am today.

So, what exactly sets me apart? I have a sharp eye for grammar and a deep love for editing. Something about refining words feels like I'm solving a puzzle. But I’m just as passionate about creative storytelling. I love writing about what brings me joy: fashion, beauty, food, and lifestyle.

I helped launch Monumental, the University of Maryland’s first lifestyle and fashion magazine while I was in college. That experience sparked something in me—a love for blending journalism with culture, creativity, and community.

Beyond writing, you can usually find me with a book, planning my next beach trip, shopping, or chatting with my friends about all things reality TV. But my favorite role has to be dog mom to my rescue pug, Oso.
